The StIPS provides training seminars in Practical International Negotiations for civil servants working in the EU, UN and other international bodies.
The training is based on real life experiences in the Council of the European Union but is applicable to many different organizations. It is not about procedures, it is about actions.
How do I behave ? How do I build a coalition? How to speak like a diplomat? and of course How do I adapt my communication style to be more effective? Those are the kind of practical questions that you will deal with in our training seminar Practical International Negotiations.
The training course can be either one or more days and will always have a negotiation simulation in it that will allow the participants to bring the theory into practice right away. This training has been part of the diplomatic training programs in Sweden and Poland and has been a success at many government agencies.
